Prom, where we got to dress like we own the red carpet, eat lots of food, almost get into a car accident, drive through a monsoon, and dance all night! My last prom and only prom, and it was perfect. In that kind of beautiful mess sort of way. But hey, how is it supposed to be memorable if it was perfect? So here's to feeling awkward and out of place in restaurants, challenging drivers in roundabouts, confronting nature in a freak hurricane/monsoon/deathly downpour, quitting on heels immediately to dance with best friends, and going to Applebee's at an unreasonable time to feast on bar food. Prom was fabulous. Everyone was gorgeous. We all had an amazing time. The only let-down of the night? We did not have a Mean Girls moment where she breaks the crown and tosses it to everyone. But that's okay. Pictures, hair, and makeup compliments of my sister, Renee, hairstylist for Fringe Hair Studio in Georgetown, DC.
