This collection showcases some of the seasons most classic looks as well as innovating styles you should be on top of. My favorite is displayed in photos 5, 10, & 11: the sweater scarf. I took one of my biggest sweaters and wore it as a scarf-this look has become very popular. A fashion staple is the 1st picture: a classic heavy coat. All of the elements among the other pictures are mere details indicating fall/winter styles.

"Gossip Girl here, your one and only source into the scandalous lives of Manhattan's elite."
At last, I finally made it back to my beloved city for a marvelous birthday adventure. The three days were packed with everything a tourist comes to the Big Apple for-the 3 S's: sightseeing, shows, and shopping. We went to the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, Central Park, Bryant Park, 9/11 Memorial, Broadway to see the play Once, Times Square to check in on the ole' Forever21, and lastly the Metropolitan Museum of Art where I had my Gossip Girl moment and got to sit on the Met Steps and have lunch-on the top stair of course. The entire trip was photographed by my lovely sister, Renee. Here are some snippits of our adventures.
You know you love me, xoxo...

Evening was creeping by, Halloween whispered through the crisp autumn air. Claire had just finished her rushed Jack-o-lantern masterpiece. Father and mother bearing delicious Mexican food were ready to depart to beloved Renee's. When all of a sudden Claire exclaims "I don't have a Halloween costume!" Her mother gave a fierce look as if to say "are you kidding me?.." Her father gave a sarcastic remark that cannot be remembered now. No matter! Claire fled to her room in a flash! In approximately 7 minutes later, Claire strutted her way downstairs smugly, slyly slid on her Dior sunglasses, did one casual turn, threw her hand on her hip and said "I'm Audrey Hepburn."
One of my favorite apps/websites/social media things is...(drum roll please) Pinterest. I'll admit now, I'm a pinning addict. Or maybe recovering addict since I use my app less often now. No matter, some of my boards have become full on outfit and hair inspiration. Let's face it, we all get lazy when it comes to getting ready in the morning. You might do your make up but then your hair gets thrown in a pony tail, or you curled your hair to perfection but you didn't plan the cute outfit to go with it. Pinterest is my cure to whenever I have these days I just fall flat on. This is a hair style that can be found on the site everywhere. It's beautiful; however, if you have thick long hair like mine, this style is a bit of a challenge. (It's also not "quick" like Pinterest suggested) Either way, it broke me from my laziness. Thank you again my beloved pinners.
