"Gossip Girl here, your one and only source into the scandalous lives of Manhattan's elite." At last, I finally made it back to my beloved city for a marvelous birthday adventure. The three days were packed with everything a tourist comes to the Big Apple for-the 3 S's: sightseeing, shows, and shopping. We went to the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, Central Park, Bryant Park, 9/11 Memorial, Broadway to see the play Once, Times Square to check in on the ole' Forever21, and lastly the Metropolitan Museum of Art where I had my Gossip Girl moment and got to sit on the Met Steps and have lunch-on the top stair of course. The entire trip was photographed by my lovely sister, Renee. Here are some snippits of our adventures. You know you love me, xoxo... [First Photograph] leggings: Strawberry

Claire had just finished her rushed Jack-o-lantern masterpiece. Father and mother bearing delicious Mexican food were ready to depart to beloved Renee's. When all of a sudden Claire exclaims "I don't have a Halloween costume!" Her mother gave a fierce look as if to say "are you kidding me?.." Her father gave a sarcastic remark that cannot be remembered now. No matter! Claire fled to her room in a flash! In approximately 7 minutes later, Claire strutted her way downstairs smugly, slyly slid on her Dior sunglasses, did one casual turn, threw her hand on her hip and said "I'm Audrey Hepburn." 10/9/14
A little seflie for your thursday. This look was inspired by the classic, famous, fabulously cliche, Barbie. It was class color day for spirit week, seniors being pink, obviously i was going to go all out. I had a fashion fail starting out the week (vintage retro combat boots fell apart.) so I redeemed myself by dressing up everyday for the rest of that week. {neutral colored maxi hand-me-down&simple black cardigan. |
