We've all seen the classic Pop Art photography by Andy Warhol of Marilyn Monroe at some point in our lives. They're iconic and truly original works. So I thought it would be perfect for my masterpiece alteration project in my Advanced Photography class. I have always loved Marilyn and her photos, but it wasn't until today where Renee and I came to the conclusion that there was no way she was not high as a kite when Andy photographed her just because of the fact that it was that difficult to mimick her expression. Nevertheless, she was still always so breathtaking. Pictured below are the photographs I took and edited of my sister. I believe we truly captured the essence of Marilyn in these photos. I'm so happy how they turned out! I'm even considering printing them onto canvas and adding them to my eclectic wall of art in my room!
